Take Flight Girls Volta Home Feminine Hygiene Product Drive

January-December 2020

After our amazing library build last year we were made aware of  a need that we are sure exist all over the world with young ladies. However we are starting here in Ghana.  After bringing feminine products to the girls of Volta Orphanage Home, we were contacted months later to help them get access to more products. We are in need of Mentstral Cups as these seem to be a more effective and economical solutions, yet we are in acceptance of all products at this time. So with the help of you and other orgnaizations we hope to collect money or products. You can find us on Amazon and donate products diredtly from our Amazon Charity Donation List.  You can mail products to our address or donate montetary by using our paypay, cashapp, or gofundme! 

Take Flight Girls Cares

January- December 2020 

Take Flight Girls Cares is an intitive that was started to bring about more awareness to causes we feel are near and dear to our hearts. Each month we will be highlighting a different cause and asking everyone to donate to organizations of their choice that focus on those causes. We too will be donating monthly to these causes. We ask that you send a picture of your donations via email, direct message on Instagram, Facebook or at us on twitter and the highest donation sent will receive an a gift from Take Flight Girls !

2020 Parks College Aviation Summer Academy

 June 7-12, 2020/July 5-10, 2020

The annual aviation summer academy brings high school juniors or seniors from across the country to a six-day, five-night stay on the campus of St. Louis University. Scholarship winners receive tuition paid; all meals, rooms and board, material and activities during the academy, including models and even entertainment. Transportation between Lambert International Airport or the Amtrak station to St. Louis University campus for out of state students. During their stay, faculty certified flight instructors and student mentors will guide students through hands-on activities in: 

  • Flight Science
  • Aviation management
  • Aerial navigation
  • Aircraft design
  • Unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Air traffic control
  • Flight attendant lifestyle

Chipotle Fundraiser

Take Flight Girls Inc. will be hosting a fundraiser at Chipotle on 
(212 S. Grand Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63103).
 From 4-9 if you present this flyer upon purchase, then 33% of the proceeds will go towards our scholarship fund supporting the St. Louis University Aviation Summer Camp and other scholarships our organizations provide. Come join us and show your support spreding this flyer around and joining us for burittos for dinner on June 8, 2020!

Girls in Aviation Day

September 25, 2020

Its our 3rd Annual Girls in Aviation Day a partnership with Women in Aviation International and Saint Louis University Parks College of Engineering, Aviation & Technology. Female high school students from the St. Louis region will be invited to attend the event in order to learn more about the aviation industry and related career opportunities. This event welcomes 80-100 students to the Parks College hangar at the St. Louis Downtown Airport, and will include hands-on activates, a career expo, and a luncheon featuring a female aviator keynote speaker.

Give STL Day

Take Flight Girls Will Be Participating in the Give STL Day which is powered by the St. Louis Community Foundation and is a part of the Foundation’s initiative to expand charitable giving in our community and to strengthen our local nonprofit sector.
The St. Louis Community Foundation inspires purposeful philanthropy that connects community and donors to build and preserve a more equitable and vibrant region, now and forever.
